Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded about 300 g
  • 230 g cream cheese, softened 8 oz, 1 block
  • 120 ml buffalo wing sauce such as Frank’s RedHot
  • 60 ml ranch dressing optional substitution with blue cheese dressing for tangier flavor
  • 120 g shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • 60 g shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced for garnish, optional

  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 hand mixer or fork
  • 1 9x9 inch baking dish (or similar 2-quart dish)
  • 1 set measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer or fork to beat until smooth.
  3. Add buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing to the bowl. Mix well until evenly combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Use a spatula to combine thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the dip mixture into the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly, and the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle sliced green onions on top for garnish if using.
  9. Serve warm with crackers, tortilla chips, celery, or carrot sticks.

Notes

You can substitute blue cheese dressing for ranch if you prefer a tangier flavor.
Use rotisserie chicken to save time.

This dip can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 1–2 hours until hot and melted.
