Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these air fryer brussel sprouts make a quick, healthy, and delicious side dish. Perfect for weeknight dinners or as a savory snack, they use minimal oil for maximum crunch and flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams Brussel sprouts About 1 pound.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Optional, for serving.

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 large spoon

Method
 

  1. Rinse the brussel sprouts under cold water. Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise.
  2. Place the halved brussel sprouts in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Toss well to coat all pieces evenly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Add the brussel sprouts to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until the brussel sprouts are crisp and golden brown on the edges.
  5. Transfer the cooked brussel sprouts to a serving dish. Squeeze lemon juice over the top if desired. Serve immediately.
  6. If you like extra crunch, add another minute or two to the cooking time.
  7. You can add parmesan cheese or balsamic glaze on top for extra flavor.
  8. For added spice, toss in a pinch of chili flakes before air frying.
  9. Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes.
