Method
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp up.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and rub the spice mixture all over, making sure each thigh is evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 195°C (380°F) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 195°C (380°F) for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken thighs using tongs. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 2 hours before air frying.
You can swap dried thyme for Italian seasoning or dried rosemary.
Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a full meal.
