Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) About 800g.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Can swap for Italian seasoning or dried rosemary.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 tongs

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and rub the spice mixture all over, making sure each thigh is evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 195°C (380°F) for 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook at 195°C (380°F) for 10 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken thighs using tongs. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the skin is golden and crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  8. Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for up to 2 hours before air frying.
You can swap dried thyme for Italian seasoning or dried rosemary.
Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a full meal.
