- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in evenly on both sides.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes to retain juices before serving.
- Optional: Tent the baking dish with aluminum foil during the first 15 minutes of baking, then uncover for the last 10 minutes for slight browning.
