Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) if cooking hash browns in the oven. Otherwise, use a frying pan.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning often until browned and cooked through.
- Grill or fry the bacon rashers for 2-3 minutes on each side until crisp.
- Place the hash browns on a baking sheet and cook in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or fry them according to the package instructions.
- Place the tomato halves cut side down on the grill pan or in the frying pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and lightly charred.
- Fry the sliced mushrooms in a bit of butter for 5-6 minutes until golden.
- Pour the baked beans into a saucepan and heat gently, stirring occasionally, until hot.
- Toast the bread slices in a toaster or under the grill. Butter them if desired.
- Melt a little butter in a nonstick pan over low heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and pepper, and fry gently until the whites are set (about 2-3 minutes for sunny side up).
- Arrange all the cooked ingredients on a plate for each person: sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, and toast.
Notes
You can substitute pork sausages and bacon for vegetarian versions if desired.
