Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts, boneless skinless About 150g each
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Equipment

  • 1 grill gas or charcoal
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk or fork
  • 1 tongs
  • 1 meat thermometer recommended
  • 1 platter or plate

Method

  1. Prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika in a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl. Toss to coat each breast thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate to marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200°C/400°F). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off. Place the chicken on the grill.
  5. Grill each side for about 6-8 minutes, flipping once, until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  6. Transfer the chicken to a platter and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. If using thick chicken breasts, consider pounding them to an even thickness for more even cooking.
  8. Serve the grilled chicken with a fresh salad, grilled vegetables, or rice for a complete meal.
