Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons ground coffee
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 2 cups ice cubes About 24 cubes.
  • 2 teaspoons sugar Optional, adjust to preference.
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream Optional, for adding creaminess.

  • 1 Coffee maker or French press
  • 2 Tall glasses
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Measuring cup

Method
 

  1. Brew the coffee by adding 4 tablespoons ground coffee to 2 cups water using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.).
  2. Cool the brewed coffee slightly by letting it stand for 2-3 minutes or placing it in the fridge for quicker chilling.
  3. Sweeten the coffee by stirring in sugar while the coffee is still warm, adjusting to your preference.
  4. Fill two tall glasses with 1 cup of ice cubes each.
  5. Pour the cooled coffee evenly over the ice in each glass.
  6. Add milk or cream by pouring 1 tablespoon into each glass, stirring to combine, and tasting for sweetness.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade iced coffee.

Notes

For stronger coffee, use more grounds or brew a coffee concentrate.
To prevent dilution, use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice.
Try adding flavored syrups for variety.
